PowerEdge R510 RAM Upgrade
Hi,
we have R510 with two Xeon CPUs and 48GB RAM. There are 6x8GB modules (3 for each CPU) A1-A3 and B1-B3 slots.
Original modules are P9RN2 DUAL IN-LINE MEMORY MODULE, 8GB, 1333, 2RX4, 8, 240, R, LOW VOLTAGE
I want to add 16GB (2x8GB). Our supplier offered me modules from Kingston KTD-PE313E/8G.
Can I put there 1.5V modules?
Cheers,
kejml

Hello,
i have a similar problem with the R510.
i have 4 PE R510 with 2G ram and one xeon cpu.
i want to put the maximum memory allowed on each, even discarding the 2x2G on each of them.
i don't understand if this platform support 16G ram modules or only 8G.
Cheers,
Ciprian
