PowerEdge T20 CPU Compatibility and A04 BIOS version

Hello everyone, Over a month ago, the Precision T1700 got a BIOS update which fixed a few bugs and provided compatibility with the Haswell Refresh CPUs. Is there an upcoming BIOS A04 for the T20? Thanks.

Miescu,

Currently the only supported processors for the T20 is the
Intel Pentium® G3220
and the
Intel Xeon® E3-1225

I am not currently hearing about a scheduled release of a BIOS update that would be adding support for additional models of processors, that isn't saying there won't be one. I just don't see one currently in the works.

Hi,

Unfortunately I didn't see that part reference in the T20's Processor list but one of them are similar.

N3W6R (kit 061W5) : Intel, 3.2GHz, 8MB, FSB 2.0MHz, 84W, Xeon E3-1225V3, Haswell, Server, Bare Processor

I remain at your disposal.

Regards,
