PowerEdge T30 memory upgrade
Hello,
I'm running a PowerEdge T30 in this configuration: Dell PowerEdge T30 E3-1225 v5/8GB/4x1TB SATA/RAID 5/DVDRW/1xGLAN/290W/3RNBD/Black
And from the start it was upgraded with this RAM: Kingston Dell 8GB DDR4 2133MHz ECC (KTD-PE421E/8G)
As this RAM is discontinued and I want to expand the RAM to 32GB I'm trying to find a compatible stick. According to Kingston product catalogue the mounted stick is: DDR4 2133MT/s ECC Unbuffered DIMM CL15 2RX8 1.2V 288-pin 4Gbit
When looking almost everywhere all I can find are sticks with 1rx8. Can I mix 2rx8 and 1rx8 in this server?
If yes something like this is ok? https://nemixram.com/16gb-2x8gb-ddr4-2133-pc4-17000-ecc-udimm-memory-1rx8/
Thanks

You can refer below link for memory module installation guidelines
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/poweredge-t30/pet30_om/general-memory-module-installation-guidelines?guid=guid-7c7b6d7e-cd4e-4bca-80d9-5b218dcdb338&lang=en-us
Are these DIMM's are from Dell?

Hello,
I know this topic is out of date, but I have the same T30 server, and I want to upgrade capacity of RAM in it.
I want to buy 2x16 GB Samsung sticks. Mainly these one:
M393A2G40DB0-CPB
are they going to be compatible with this mainboard?
Thank 6.
