I am not showing that we offer a 4TB drive for that server, that doesn't mean it isn't supported though. Now can you confirm a couple things for me? First , what is the controller installed in the server? Also when you said you were trying to use this drive, were you referring to trying to use it in an existing array, or by itself? I ask because if it is an existing array then the controller will display the drive size as the same as the other drives in the existing array. Which may explain what you are seeing. Lastly, the issue may be the specific hdd itself.

The T605 does not support a controller that can use drives larger than 2TB. The PERC 6 is limited to 2TB disks, as is the SAS 6 (in RAID mode).

I stand corrected, the Perc 6/i doesn't support physical drives in excess of 4TB, only Virtual Disks exceeding 2TB.
