Poweredge 1900 & Sub-optimal memory config warning
Added an additional 2x2Gb to a Dell PEDGE 1900 which was already fitted with 4x1Gb. During boot I'm warned that the mem config is sub-optimal and I can see according to the Docs why this is. Just wondering what will be the effect of this in operation. Should I be rushing out to fill the reminaing two slots ? Will there be any w2k3x64 stability issues ?

that is a good question, too bad no one has responded in the past 4 years as I currently have the issue.
I think the Dell sub-opt message is simply due to the fact that 6 DIMMS are installed and Dell recommends 2, 4, or 8.
