Poweredge 2650 Embedded Server Management Error
Hello all. I'm hoping someone can help us. We have 2 Poweredge 2650 and they've been great for 14 years. One is now given us boot trouble and it has vital data on it that apparently wasn't getting backed up. It starts to boot to "Initializing Remote Access Controller", but eventually returns "Error: Remote Access Controller Initialization Failure". It then continues to load with "Checking embedded server management firmware" and dies at "Embedded Server Management Error".
Reading other solutions, I've tried reseating the Riser board, but to no avail. Does anyone have a solution?

Hello
You can take the system to minimum-to-POST. If the issue persists then you will likely need to replace the riser. If you have a spare riser to test with you should be able to determine if it is a riser issue or an issue with the slot on the system board.
