Poweredge 4400 Unable to create RAID
Hi
I am unable to create raid on my server
I read that RAID is to be activated in BIOS. I have ver 11 on bios but it does not allow me to get to the option of changing scsi to raid, please advice what I may be doing wrong or if there is something else I should set before I can change the setting. also there is NO perc installed, been trying to install perc 3. message comes up "NO raid controllers found"

Physically check you have the raid compnents installed. Open the case and look for a small circuit board plugged into a blue socket between the memory slots and the cpu's. There should also be a memory dimm plugged into a single slot below the main memory and the presence of a nicad battery pack plugged into the motherboard. These components make up the perc 3/DI onboard raid contoller. If fitted you should be able to change from scsi to raid in integrated devices in the bios,
