Poweredge R710 - PCIE Fatal Error on bus 0 device 6 function 0
How do I know which component is faulting, and what methods can I try to fix the error aside from the typical re-seating of the riser cards and attached components?
R710 - Windows Server 2008 R2 is installed.

Hello
I would start with the hardware log. The hardware log may specify the slot. If you are unable to find more information in the hardware log then you will need to get a PCI device list. I found another thread where someone posted a PCI device list for an R710. In that device list 0:6:0 is port 6 on the PCI bridge. If that is the same as your system then it is one of the slots on the center PCIe riser. Unfortunately, the block diagram I have is too low resolution for me to be able to tell which exact slot it is on the center riser.
