Poweredge R720 - iDRAC not ready
Hello,
I ma experiencing an issue with the my r720 will boot up and then it hangs at the bios while trying to load the iDRAC, then reboots and the fans kick off on high. The system displays that the lifecycle controller is disabled and the iDRAC is not ready.
I have tried to reset the iDRAC and update the firmware. Looking for additional solutions or guidance.

Hello
The iDRAC can sometimes take longer to initialize than the system POST process. If the iDRAC has not finished its initialization by the time the system expects then it can give the not ready message. There are other possible causes as well. Even if you are at a later firmware on the iDRAC I would suggest following the steps in this article of draining flea power. That should cause the iDRAC to fully restart. Once you attach power to the system wait about two minutes before turning it on to allow time for the iDRAC to initialize.
