Poweredge R740 with Tesla T4

Question

Hi evreybody, What type of riser do I need for Tesla T4 with powerdge R740 ? Also, do I need the GPU enablement kit ? Can't find a proper documentation for this setup and dell poweredge R740 configurator is not available anymore.   Thanks

You are correct. You need the GPU enablement kit. This should be the part number you can check with sales for quote.

Part# 330-BBMO : GPU Enablement Customer Kit

GPU Enablement Kit Includes two 1U Heatsinks, six HP Fans, three GPU power cables and All needed Risers to support GPU's-risers 1A for DW. 1D for SW. 2A and 3A are used in both configs.

Also the tesla t4 I have is a low profile, doest i makes a difference ?

As I didn't mention specificaly when I ordered that there will be a GPU, is there any restrictions or anything I need to Unlock ?

Hi,

The part#330-BBMO your refering to is the Riser1A card

And the GPU enablment kit is the part#490-BEIX

Do I miss something or am I right and I shoud order those 2 parts ?
