Hello
Skimming through everything, I'm not seeing an issue.
Make sure you are putting the modules in the correct slots(1,2 and 3,4) on each riser. They should be the white slots. If you are putting the memory into the top two slots on each riser then you are populating them in 1,2 and 5,6. That would be an invalid configuration.
Also, check the hardware log or hardware section of the iDRAC or one of our management utilities like OpenManage Server Administrator. Check for any faulting modules. If any modules are faulty/disabled they will cause an invalid configuration. This can cause other modules to be disabled.
There should be a diagram of the memory riser slot layout on the inside of the top cover.
Thanks

You should be able to access the iDRAC even if the system is not booting. If that is not an option then you can change the memory configuration to something that will allow boot to check the logs.

This is the current iDRAC screen, error saying no memory is installed. likely due to it not being configured on boot. I know the modules work as I just tested them in a R710
Do any of these lights indicate a issue?

It doesn't appear the system is completing POST. I suggest that you review all of the changes that have been made to the system. I checked the part database, I don't see any 2850 model processors listed for the R910.

I see the mistype here is that the processor is actually a E7-4850
also the photo was taken with the server turned off
