Poweredge T310 Disk writing speed very slow! ESXI 4.0 update 1
Hello,
I have a poweredge t310 with a PERC H200 (6 GB/s) raid controller and 2 x 1 TB WD 1002FBYS HD's (3 GB/s). We ran them in RAID 0 and RAID 1 but the writing speed is still very slow under ESXI (10 MB/s). We also have tried to install windows server 2008 (without virtialization), and then we can reach a writing speed of 30 MB/s. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem, in order to reach the writing speed according to the specs?

Hi
same problem with the H200 controller here.
write speed are incredibly slow, mostly for small files (unacceptable speed).
did you get some fix for this yet ?

Seems like those Hbas were made for Dos applications only... ;-)
