Poweredge T310 won't power up
My poweredge T310 turned itself off over night and now won't power up. The power cable is fine - it works perfectly well with another old dell server. The power status indicator at the back is not lit and pressing the power supply test switch has no effect. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Richard,
Take the server to the Minimum to Post configuration, that's removing everything but the following:
CPU
System Board
Heatsink for CPU for prevention of over-heating
The PSU (and for redundant PSU also the PDB).
Front panel (to power system ON).
1 memory DIMM.
If that still fails then swap the power supply to the other slot, if it isn't redundant. and see if it allows it to power up.
