Poweredge T620 Motherboard Replacement
TIA for any help you can give me.
I have a PET620 with a failing motherboard, and I need to replace it with a used or refurbished motherboard.
The current, failing motherboard is:
Revision: A01 07HNGV
I have two options to choose from:
Revision A01 03GCPM
-OR-
Revision A01 0G1CNH
Can someone tell me which one is best to choose? I cannot find an exact match for a replacement in a reasonable price range. I have scoured a bunch of sites to see which one would be best, but I cannot get a definitive direction to choose. If there's some sort of manual that shows the differences, please send me a link.
Am I correct to assume that anything with the A01 designation will be the first revision, and therefore anything in the other set of identifiers are just minor differences?
Thanks!

TheChasman,
Actually the revisions are as follows;
7HNGV - TRPM V4
3GCPM - TRPM V5
G1CNH - TRPM V6
So your board is the 4th version of the motherboard. Now you can try the newer revisions, but if there is something installed on the server that supports only the V4 then you could have issues.
Now with not finding any of the 7HNGV boards, you may try looking for part 0RFD1 (it is the svc kit that includes that board)
Hope this helps.

One other question - is there any kind of online documentation that actually shows the different motherboard versions for each series, i.e. all motherboard revisions for the T620, all motherboard revisions for the R720, etc.
It would make it much easier for everyone to look up a code to see what they have and compare it to what might be available.
Thanks!
