Poweredge r710 on its side (need help)

I have a out of warranty Poweredge 710 that I will be using as a a personal workstation for video editing.
The only thing is I need to turn it on its side in a traditional PC tower fashion do to  space restraints.

I would be using a 3rd party "rack to tower" conversion kit i purchased online, it basically sits in 2 stands that will keep it up right and secure

My question is:
Is this ok to do? will the machine still operate the same as if it was laying down
