Problem with PE400SC, LSI RAID ATA-133 and Graphics card
I've got PE400SC. Here is the problem I run into.
There is LSI ATA-133 RAID controller card on one of PCI slot. Two 120GB HDDs are configured for mirroring. There is XP Pro OS installed and everything is great, except...
I can not install different graphics card. Without RAID card I can replace ATI graphics card coming with the system to another PCI or AGP card and they work without problem.
When RAID card is in the system if I replace graphics card to another system(BIOS) does not detect LSI controller. I've tried both AGP and PCI graphics - NVIDIA 400MX, 4600, ATI RADEON 9200 PCI cards. Again, when there is no RAID controller, they work just fine, problem starts when RAID is there.
Do you have any suggestion what to do?
I suspect that this is happening because of IRQ/memory conflict. I've heard that there is utility floppy, which boots in DOS mode and allows change of PCI/IRQ/Memory assignment. Could you point, where can I download it?
Thanks.

I am having the same problem. I set up a RAID 1 array with the LSI MegaRAID 133-2 card and it was working perfectly with the stock ATI PCI video card in my 400SC. But I've tried two different Nvidia AGP Ti-4200 and Ti-4800 cards (64MB and 128MB video memory, respectively) and NEITHER one will allow the 400SC to recognize the LSI MegaRAID 133-2 card. The bootup just goes to a "Hit F1 to retry boot" and "Hit F2 to go to Setup".
I tried inserting the MegaRAID card into an Abit-based P4 motherboard and it works perfectly with the same video cards. There seems to be some sort of conflict with the AGP video BIOS and the MegaRAID BIOS. I've got the latest A09 BIO on the Dell 400SC, as well as the latest BIOS on the MegaRAID card.
I know that the 400SC CAN work with an IDE RAID card and AGP, since I set one up last week with a HighPoint RocketRAID 133 card and a Ti-4200 AGP video card. But there seems to be a problem with the LSI MegaRAID card.
