Problem with PowerEdge R720

Dear,


We are from Serbia and that our English is not good. :emotion-1:

Please, tell us who is the minister for Your ProSupport in Serbia? In fact we have a Dell R720 server, we want to install operating system, but when server starting out, he run a warning "Membist memory failure DIMM B1".

When we called our seller they gave us a number for your international support and we could not get in touch with someone who is in charge of Serbia.

When checking kind of warranty server on your site  by entering the service tag, it was shown us the following types of guarantees:

NBD ProSupport For IT On-Site

Parts Only

So, please tell us what to do?

Opstbac,

Regarding the "Membistmemory failure DIMM B1". error you are getting, if you power down the server and swap dimm B1 with another dimm in the server, does the error follow the dimm to the new location? Does it remain at B1?

This way you will know if the issue is the dimm, or the slot the dimm is in.

Што се тиче "Membistmemory failure DIMM B1". еррор добијате, ако напајање са сервера и свап димм Б1 са другим ДИММ-у серверу, нема грешке прати ДИММ на новој локацији? Да ли остати на Б1?
На тај начин ћете знати да ли је проблем ДИММ, или Слот ДИММ је унутра

Chris,

We did what you told us, that we shake off the power and replace the DIMM with the DIMM B1 and B2 error follows the slot, and now appears in slot B2.
We were able even to take photos, you can see in the attachment.
Can not manage to get in touch with support that is listed on your site in Belgrade.

What are we going to take?
