R410 and virtual console
Hi All
Now i was under the impression that VC was not supported on iDRAC6 Express so why is the link displayed on mine and allows me to setup the connection but then fails ?

Matt,
The Idrac6 Express doesn't support using the Virtual Console. You would need to add the Idrac Enterprise Card to be able to use it. The reason you have the selections and ability to set it up is that part of the logic used by the Enterprise resides on the Express chip. So basically you can see it, but it won't work without the Enterprise card installed.

Ahh ok though it woudl make sense if it either wasnt there or popped up a message saying its not supported ratehr than allowing someone through the whole client setup and in the case of the activex client a reboot (something else i find odd)
