R540 LOM ports not working
I have four dell servers, and three have Intel 10G ports, and each of them are working fine at 10G.
The fourth server is an R540, and it has Broadcom LOM ports.
Using the same Copper Direct connect SFP cables, the Broadcom ports do not connect.
Swapped cables with working intel ports and ports on the switch. Used an alternate vendor SFP cable with no luck.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Can you check whether details and link of LOM ports are shown in iDRAC and system BIOS? You can also check the behavior after installing latest FW for iDRAC, BIOS and NIC card

the lom port makes a valid connect to the 10g port on the switch when in bios setup mode. the switch sees traffic.
this is windows server 2016
bios 2.10.2
idrac 4.32.10.00
the mezzanine port identifies the direct attach cable by part number, vendor, etc.
but when windows boots no link occurs.

The fix required the following
Change the default setting in the BIOS for the BroadCom LOM port from 10G to AutoNegotiate.
Change the "SPEED & DUPLEX" settings in the latest driver for Windows 2016 from Autonegotiate to 10G Full Duplex.
These settings work regardless of the Switch port being in 10G or 10G-Auto.
I can now move the Direct Attached cable between the two LOM ports and it connects correctly.
Problem Solved.
