R620 rails
the R620 Ready Rails (using 4-post mounting kit) do not fit in our old bay correctly to allow the server to install in the bay. The tolerance on these rails is very tight. The ReadyRails are 5/8” thick. The field tells me to fit in the bay, the rails have to be about half that thickness. The R620 is replacing an old Dell 1650 which mounts in the bay ok on its rails. There is a Static rail option that appears to be less thick, but I can’t find a spec on that. From the picture on the web, it’s not clear how thick it is, but it doesn’t appear half as thick. Would anyone be able to find the spec on the Static Rail?
I may have to place the R620s on a shelf we create instead (in which case I am hoping the two screws on the front of the R620 will screw into a standard 19” rack mount and are not only intended to screw into the rails.
I don’t think Dell R620 supports any other mounting options (but if they do, I’d love to hear about them).

the ReadyRails Sliding Rails w/Cable Mgmt Arm (331-4765) shipped with R620 (rail too thick/won't work)
would like to see/try the ReadyRails Static Rails for Select 1U systems, 2-post/4-post (331-5460) but am reluctant to purchase before seeing a specific drawing (thickness dimension)

Rrdteam,
There are a couple options on the rails for the R620. So I am certain on the rails you are trying, do you have the part number for them. That way I can confirm if the others will work.
Let me know what you find.
