R730 backplane firmware update

It is a ESXi server 5.5

I got a degraded warning in the backplane and support suggested to update the firmware using files from below link.

However, I wonder where I should apply the firmware update since it cannot be converted to SUU ISO..

Or I do not know how to deal with it..

Thanks..

I would update the firmware using the iDRAC. This will allow you to use the .EXE, even in an ESXi environment. I'll link to an article that details the process.

There hasn't been a 32 bit version since, I believe, 4.0. The earliest supported ESXi version is 5.1. You can also run vmware -v and take the build it gives and search it.
