R730 crash - message multi-bit memory errors detected DIMM_B7

Hi, A server on site has crash and we havce 2 different message under IDRAC: - Multi-bit memory errors cetected on a memory device at locations DIMM_B7 - CPU 1 has a internal error Q: Must I have to go on site and start the tool test or can I immediatly replace the DIMM and exclude the cpu problem? Thanks

Hi, You will need to go onsite and swap the dim to a different slot on the other CPU and see if the error follows the DIMM.
