Unfortunately, neither do I have any documentation about the server's side panel removal hence I am unable to guide you to remove it. But it sounds like you have already done it. Great to have you here to feedback to the forum. Would be great if you have a video of it and uploaded in Youtube.

There's a screw on the bottom of the chassis.
