Repeated Keystrokes in iDRAC Enterprise virtual console
I'm having the same issue many on the net have complained about, forever. Repeated keystrokes as I type in the virtual console (java). Replicated after doing an iDRAC reset too. I cannot fix it and I cannot do simple tasks like login (finally did after about 15 tries). I cannot do simple things like "ls", mount, etc. Even backspace deletes nearly the whole line. It's jittery and I'm hoping someone knows of a solution.
1. Please help me with a fix
2. Isn't HTML5 console possible?
3. How can I paste from my desktop into the console?

Ok. I used the Data Center manager.
I downloaded firmware file 2.8.5v for R610.
Tried to upload via iDRAC which I've done successfully before using BIN file on another R610, go thtis error:
File is not valid for iDRAC Firmware update
Filename: ESM_Firmware_J7YYK_LN32_2.85_A00.BIN

Thanks. I'm really confused on how to use that software. Tried before, installing it on my laptop but couldn't for the life of me figure how to create the ISO for the R610 servers I have. I would appreciate if you explain this.
Can the upgrade be done via virtual console, or even via ssh yum method? I'm guessing you cannot upgrade iDRAC 6 to 7, since it's more hardware logic based upgrades right?
Browsers & O/S both 64 bit.
Which do I use anyway, business or data center manager?
