(Resolved) R620 - Can I add another riser - want to add Dell 0942V6...
(update - reached out to a reseller on eBay and they said that the G8RPD will work in a R620. Ordered one. Thanks)
I have a R620 for home use. I currently have riser a PERC H810 installed on the riser above the 4 1Gb NICs.
There are 2 open slots (1 & 2) that it looks like can take additional cards but I'm not sure what might work...
Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks

Follow up question - Could I replace the existing R1XFC (quad 1Gb) with a G8RPD (dual 10Gb/1Gb)?

Can you confirm whether this is a dual proc or single proc server? A single proc server in the best case will only support 2 PCI slot, requiring 2 different risers. A dual proc server can have both 2 and 3 slot configurations.
As for that specific card in this specific model, there shouldn't be an issue. I'm showing the card is supported.
