Slot 2 not recognized after configuration.

Hello,

 

I have a confusing matter concerning Raid configuration on a c6220 and a drive slot coming up as unrecognizable afterwards.  Basically, the slot is found prior to Raid configuration, and after configuring back to default.  Here are the steps I have taken.

 

- Installed a RAID controller card, and swapped with other working servers to ensure its installed properly as well as working in general too.

- All slots display green, and I can configure RAID 10 properly without error.  No drives show red until reboot, and remains to be slot 2.

- After reboot, slot 2 religiously shows up as missing.  If I break the RAID, and set drives back to default, the slot displays as it should.

-I've changed the SSD in use, within this slot multiple times, even watch it one time properly rebuild only to face the same slot fail after reboot once more.

-I have checked the back plane and cables seem snug and correctly plugged.

 

Unsure what I should troubleshoot next, as I have done the troubleshooting 101 steps multiple times.
