And it doesn't even have to actually work (so you can pick up the cheapest (and optionally non-functional) drive bay cover you can lay your hands on that you still feel is an acceptable look of the tower.

If you google "5.25 bay cover", you may find several options that way too that would probably work.

Wouldnt it be easier to insert another drive in there? If security is an issue, install an ide drive in there that cant be connected to anything. Probably easier to locate.

Hello HTC2010

The part number for the filler panel on a T110/T110 II is JFJ29. If we do not have that part available then an online search of that part number will provide several results of retailers you can purchase it from.

Thanks

I wouldn't mind inserting a hot swap bay of some sort.  It's not really anything, just an aesthetic issue.  We were delivered a server with a non function CD ROM drive and it just bugs me to see it.  I've been wanting to pull the thing out but don't have any drive bay covers.  I tried a few different ones but the clips don't clip into the bezel properly.

I looked for that specific part number on Google but found that most of the retailers looked kind of shaky so I think I'll hold off on that.

Can anyone recommend a good 5.25 hot swap bay that would fit in this case?  I'm slightly confused as what to look for since it looks like whatever I use needs some kind of mounting pin that fits the tower.

There should be spare mounting screws behind the bezel. remove the side cover and you can access the bezel clip, remove it and there should be spare screws clipped to it.

Thank you.  Will take a look during our next round of spring cleaning when we disassemble the chassis to dust out and such.
