T320 USB and Video
I have a PE T320 tower that has faithfully served me for almost 3 years. It was setup and placed in a network closet to be used as a server and hasn't been touched since. Until today...
I needed to make a couple of changes and connected a monitor plus kb and mouse. There's no video coming from the VGA port and it is a known good monitor and cable. Monitor turns on but just a black screen, no video. I rebooted the unit and get same result, even during boot and POST.
Also the rear USB ports will not work, none of them, front two work just fine.
I downed the box and moved NVRAM clear jumper, then powered up to boot.
Power off and reset jumper, booted back up with same result on both counts, video and USB.
Anyone have any ideas short of a new server or MB?
Thanks!

Hello
This was a good troubleshooting step. By default all USB ports and the embedded video are enabled. Clearing NVRAM should make sure those are on the default values of enabled.
If the issue is persisting then it could be a problem with an attached piece of hardware that is faulty or incompatible. Try disconnecting unnecessary hardware from the system. If you have any USB or PCI video devices in the system they may be causing the system to disable the embedded video. Also, almost any hardware in the system can cause issues with other hardware. Taking the system to minimum-to-POST should be on the list of things to do when trying to track down a hardware issue.

Daniel, the system is at its minimum with the only 2 items being plugged in are a monitor to VGA port and keyboard into one front USB.
I also tried different keyboards and monitors with same result.
I'll go thru the server troubleshooting article, hopefully today time permitting.
