T410 Keyboard failure at bios level at boot
Our T410 server has a keyboard failure message displayed at boot and later hangs waiting for a F1 or F2 keyboard response. (Of course tried different ports and keyboards when this happened.)
We have tried doing a bios reset including using a jumper switch, power button hold, etc. Also now getting a Sata port A device not found (the DVD drive).
Ideas?

Hello
It sounds like you are having some bus failures. It is likely an issue with power, a device attached to the system board, or the system board itself. If it were an issue with the power supply you would likely be getting voltage errors. I would start by disconnecting any devices you have added to the system. If the issue persists then I would start removing all other non-necessary equipment.
If the issue is resolved by disconnecting a device then the issue is with either the slot, cable, or that device itself. If you still have the issue after disconnecting all unnecessary devices then it is likely that the system board will need to be replaced. You will just have to start replacing most likely components, or swap with known good components if they are available.
Since you are receiving a SATA port error along with this issue I would start with the hard drive/optical drive on the port being the likely problem.
Thanks
