The controller/TTY log is the best place for information. If you are unable to read that log then the hardware/system log on the iDRAC/BMC is the second best place to get information on the storage controller. You can use one of our OpenManage products, like OpenManage Server Administrator, to manage and monitor the hardware.
Hello Daniel, I am remote to this server but we do have OMSA 6.3.0 and upon further checking I see that drives 0 and 4 have uncorrectable errors, chkdsk found 2 bad sectors. How to deal with this?
This is RAID 5 with 4 drives in VD and 1 Hot Spare
