Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS does not install QLogic 57800 Network Daughter Card
HEllo,
I'm installing Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS O.S. on a Power Edge R740 equipped with QLogic 57800 2x10Gb BT +
2x1Gb BT Network Daughter Card.
During the installation procedure, Ubuntu doesn't recognize and install driverts for Network Daughter Card.
I've tested both, ubuntu-18.04.3-live-server-amd64 and ubuntu-18.04.3-server-amd64.
Same result.
Any suggestion?
Many thanks.

Hi,
Can you install the driver after the OS install?

Hi SIMedia,
Please check in the hardware inventry that the card is visible in the Hardware.
If it is visible then you can install the driver separately after downloading from Dell Support site. Link Provided Below.

Solved!
It was a problem related to the Network card not well installed into its slot.
