Upgrade 96 GB RAM to 144 GB PowerEdge R620

I have a Dell R620 server, it has 96 GB RAM in configuration (2 processors with 8GB*12DIMMS).
Now I need to upgrade to 144 GB in RAM, considering that I have 6 additional 8GB cards; however I can't find the configuration for this activity, I read the following manual without finding the desired configuration:

https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/poweredge-r620/r620systemownersmanual-v1/sample-memory-configurations?guid=guid-afe58651-3836-4641-8d7b-463afac05ea6&lang=en-us

How should I upgrade from 96GB to 144GB of RAM if I have 8GB cards only?

I believe it will work even though it is not a desired configuration. You need to ensure you are following all guidelines mentioned in below link

https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/poweredge-r620/r620systemownersmanual/general-memory-module-installation-guidelines?guid=guid-0f97a40c-2a63-4dc8-a8b2-607006d75804&lang=en-us

As you have 18 DIMM's You can populate DIMM's on A1 to A9 DIMM slot of both processor. Is new DIMM's have same type and speed of existing DIMM?
