I want to upgrade the CPU on a Dell PowerEdge 2950 III to support Intel® VT-x with Extended Page Tables (EPT). What CPU or CPUs could I use. Thank you

None. The 5300 and 5400 series processors do not support VT/EPT:

Besides the 5300 and 5400 series processors is there another series of processors that the Poweredge 2950 supports which supports VT/EPT?

No. I listed the 5300 and 5400, because they are the "best" series of processors supported on the 2950 and the Intel 5000X chipset. You would need a 10/11G system that supports a minimum of the 5500 or 5600 series processors, like the R710 (the replacement for the 2950).
