What is the best method for Poweredge R420 Firmware Upgrade
Dell has many ways to upgrade PowerEdge servers, but I haven’t found an universal way to upgrade all my firmware.

What is the best approach to upgrade Dell firmware ?

Does Dell have a method to upgrade all my firmware ?
If I use Dell Firmware Updates- Lifecycle controller I don’t get disks upgraded.
If I use DSU I don’t get Dell OS Driver Pack upgraded.

Should I always use both methods to get all my system upgraded?

If I use both methods I get all my system upgraded or I should use other methods?

Hello
I'm not aware of a single method that will update every possible component in a system. You may need to use several update methods to update all hardware in your server. The lifecycle controller should be able to update the majority of your components.
