memory configuration for PowerEdge R815

hello everybody,

we own a Dell PowerEdge R815 server with two processors installed.

Is it possible to install 8 DIMMs of 16GB each, without getting the message 'memory configuration is not optimal, Press F1 to continue' ?.

thank you in advanced, Manolis.

Hello,

I think you will not get a warning message with the correct population like here. Also, if you want to turn off the warning message, you can turn it off like here. "Disable the "F1/F2 Prompt Error" function" https://dell.to/3h3CLmA
