Hello,

I'm not finding mention of a beep code diagnostic utility in the server. I'd expect to find a chart breaking down patterns to explain individual beep codes, if one were supported in the server. You might consider taking the server down to the minimum to POST to see if there is an underlying error causing it to beep.

Thank you a lot for the feedback.

There are no any errors at all at any step of loading and operating.

I have examined beep error codes list and not found any matched.

OS works fine, no HW errors.

Just constant beeping and that is the question.

I have a side cutter ready to kill this beeper by own device but can not fint it on dell 2950 server motherboard.

Well, before you use any cutting tools, I would definitely take the server out of your rack to verify that the server is what is beeping. There shouldn't be a speaker in the server, and the piezoelectric effect probably wouldn't create a repeating pattern. If the server keeps beeping even with it out of the rack, then there may be something to investigate, but none of the documentation on any of the diagnostic utilities indicate a beep code. Something like a beeping UPS would make a lot more sense.

Regardless, best of luck in getting the noise silenced. I'd be curious to hear what you did, once it's resolved.

I would remove any USB devices and take the system to the minimum to POST. Once at that configuration, power it back up and watch for any system halts. If it doesn't halt, than you can add components back in until you identify the problem. Once a component has been identified, you could either test an alternate, or test it in another system.
