Metsyson,
When you shut down the server and then replace the power cable, how long do you wait until you attempt to power up?
The issue you are having is generally caused by starting the server immediately after plugging it in.
Please follow these steps and let me know how it goes.
1: clear flea power (unplug power and hold power button for 20 seconds)
2: apply power, wait 2 full minutes for the DRAC to fully initaliaze before booting server
2: boot to bios and soft-reset it (turn on caps/scroll/num lock and hit alt+e, alt+f, alt+b and the system will reboot)
3: boot into the Ctrl+E iDrac bios and reset it to default, escape and the system will reboot.
4: boot back into the iDrac bios again and verify Drac LAN and IPMI over LAN are both enabled, save and exit, escape and the system will reboot.
If the system boots to the OS we will need to update the iDrac firmware. What is the revision on yours?
Just in case this is the most current version - www.dell.com/.../DriverDetails
The System Services can also be caused by starting up the server immediately after plugging it in
Thanks.

i had this with a number of servers. boot to a dell system builder and updater. click on firmware and it will ask where to boot from. choose usb and have a dell utility flash stick. click continue and import/ export screen will appear. updates needed screen will follow and continue from there. it may not do all updates at once, so you may have to repeat the process. let me know if this helps or you need step by step instruction. hope it helps, took 3 months to figure out for us

This did not work. The System Services is still disabled and I'm still getting iDrac communication/initialization fails.
iDrac i at version 1.60
