r620 stuck on configuring memory

I recently upgraded my ram from 32gb to 64gb for my r620. The machine was booting fine. It now won't finish the "Configuring Memory" step. Can it be due to a faulty module? Incorrect arrangement? What is causing this?

Intel Stock Cooler,

A couple things to confirm, if you wouldn't mind. Is the server up to date on BIOS and iDrac and the other is if you tested the new dimms individually in A1, or A1 and B1 if dual proc?

Let me know and we can proceed from there.

We had this exact same issue, take out all the DIMMs except A1, then reseat one at a time until you get stuck. For me is was A8 typically. Not sure why ECC doesn't detect this and move on.
