Configuration RAID 5 over PE T110 PERC S100
Hi All,
I have Poweredge T110 Machine with PERC S100 builtin controller. I want to upgrade Hard Disks as 4X1TB Seagate Model# ST1000DM003 (already in stock) with RAID-5 configuration.
My Issue is that after installation of Windows Server OS with RAID-5 configuration, the HD activity LED is continuously blinking.
May I have any solution to overcome this behavior?

Hello.
Continuous blinking of the HD activity LED; if not amber may show normal operation of the hard drive . Using OpenManager Server Administrator (OMSA), or Ctrl +R utility on boot up, verify the status of the Virtual Disk and the given drive. If the Virtual Disk is in a degraded state with a failed drive, then you have to replace this drive.
