Windows 2008 driver for PERC 3/DI Raid issues
Windows 2008 driver for PERC 3/DI provided by Dell does not work when installing windows 2008. When asked for the driver windows 2008 does not recognise the RAID card. We have updated the RAID card firmware to 2.8.1.7692 which is the driver software's minimum requirements. We are trying to install this on a Poweredge 4400 with Raid 5. Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

When installing W2k8, if the Windows can't find the driver there isn't a work around for it at this time unless you get a new raid controller card; a different card like a perc 4. You may want to change the OS to Windows 2003 as it's a supported OS on this server.
