Drive Upgrades - workload impact?
Customer question: When adding capacity on a PowerMax could the resulting rebalance operation negatively impact any active PowerMax workloads? Previously experienced this on a competitive array at 90% capacity/utilization.

It should not but please speak to your H/W Local representative as they will know the system and be able to give you a more detailed answer.

It's non distributive upgrade for drives and cache upgrade. PowerMax, VMAX usually come with 2 directors.
