Any way to change a Japanese 701n to an English version?
I bought a Japanese model of a 701n (not intentionally) from ebay. It is working properly, but obviously isn't of much use to me since I can't understand the web interface to set options etc.
Is there any way to change this to an english model?
Thanks,
Dave

Officially: No.
The OS is embedded into a Flash BIOS ROM.
The ROM must be reprogrammed with an English version of the OS

Update: I was able to convert it to English just by upgrading the OS from the 2.x Japanese version, to a 3.x English version I was able to track down by asking on another forum. The Bios was already in English. It is now a Snap Server 2000:).
