I had a same issue with a few MD3800f. This solution (instructed by DELL support) worked for me.

Configuration:

MD3800f with two controllers with two management ports on each one.  IP address on port 1 should be changed (default IP ctrl0 Port1 - 192.168.129.101 and ctrl1 Port1 - 192.168.129.102)

Don't ask me anything about steps :) :)

Step by step:

  1. Change from DHCP to static IPv6 for all four ports
  2. Change the IPv6 IP address for all four ports (one by one, change then confirm), Address for every port must be unique: 0001, 0002...
    1. IMPORTANT change not accepted so must be done again. I did every step twice :(
    2. My suggestion is to repeat every action twice until you change the management IP
  3. Disable the IPv6 IP address for all four ports (one by one, change then confirm)
  4. Now, you can change the IP address for management port1 on every controller (one by one, change then confirm).

Hope this will help
