MD3200i - work with ESXi 4.1 and/or ESXi 5?
Hi,
I have an MD3200i set up with dual 5424 switches and connected to a couple of Windows servers already. If I get another server (probably an R710) and install VMware ESXi 4.1 or 5 will I be able to connect it to a new disk group on some of the spare capacity on my MD3200i?

You do this with host groups. No problemo.... I'd stick to 4.1 as it's on the HCL.

4.1 is currently on the MD3200i support matrix, but Dell hasn't released support info for ESXi 5.0 yet, so until they do, you don't know for sure if a firmware upgrade is needed to properly support that new OS.
