SSD Cache
For the Dell PowerVault series, how many SSDs minimum are required to initiate SSD cache? Can you extend the controller read cache capacity and if yes, how much?

For the Dell PowerVault series, how many SSDs minimum are required to initiate SSD cache? Can you extend the controller read cache capacity and if yes, how much?

Hello lucaskvs,
The minimum amount of disk that you will need for SSD cache is 2 drives. Now you will also need to have a license for that feature as well. Here is a link to the administrator guide & if you look on page 109 it explains about how SSD cache works. ftp.dell.com/.../powervault-md3200_Administrator%20Guide_en-us.pdf
