md1400 + Perc H840
Hello,
it is possible connect to MD1400 disk drives SATA ? I have chassis without Hdd's and now i need to buy some cheap drives.
I have good offer for the SAS
4TB : ST4000NM002A
4TB : ST4000NM003A
6TB : ST6000NM029A
and SATA :
6TB : WD6003FRYZ
But i don't know, if these disks are supported for MD1400
Uses these drives, someone or are unsupported ? In document aren't those types ... https://dl.dell.com/topicspdf/md1400md1420_sm_en-us.pdf

Welcome to the Dell Community!
I am afraid the MD14xx enclosures do not support SATA interface drives. You can find a list of all supported drives here: https://dell.to/3koLTTM
Sadly, none of the 3 SAS you mentioned are supported on the MD1400.
