modular disk storage manager - configure alerts
Hi, i have a powervault 3260 sas with the latest version of modular disk storage manager installed.
I try to configure email alertinf but there are not settings like smtp port , ssh, authentication.
It has only the basic options.

To configure the email alerts on the MD storage arrays here is a link that explains the process. It starts on page 41.

It is pretty straight forward as long as all the exchange setting are properly configured on the rest of the network. I hope this walk through helps.

I have already know this, the problem is the default port 25 which is disabled, only secure ports 587 and 465 allowed and authentication needed.
any ideas?

I am more of a storage guy but the issue looks to be with exchange. I did some research and was able to find that it looks like you need to configure a reply connector for the exchange server.
