question about creating virtual disks on my MD3220i

I am creating a virtual disk where I'll be putting an SQL server and it's asking me to

pick Virtual Disk I/O characteristics type. The options are File system (typical), Database, Multimedia and Custom.

I'm thinking about selecting Database since this is for an SQL server. I am however not sure since I don't have a lot of

experience with this. My question is which one should I select or does it maybe not even matter?

thanks

Being that the VD will be strictly for SQL then you can go ahead and select the database option. Any other time you would select the typical option. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
