Dell T7400 memory riser blocks to expand RAM, What to do with the fan that points toward the RAM provide cooling?

I have purchased the riser blocks to expand memory, my concern is the fan in that area that points toward the RAM to provide cooling, should I be thinking about mounting on outside of box to pull cool air out of the computer? Many thanks in advance for any thoughts.
