MBR format SSD Drive on Precision 3430

Here is my issue, cloned a drive from a older system to install in a Precision 3430. The format is MBR not GPT. My question, is there a way to set the bios to see my new SSD drive that is formatted MBR? I know that I can convert it to GPT but I should not have to. Connected the SSD drive to the old system and drive is recognized and boots normal. I am just trying to find out is possible or not possible to read MBR drive on the Precision 3430.?Any suggestion would greatly appreciated.
